Ilene Steele currently resides in the North Okanagan region of British Columbia in Vernon after spending many years in the Southern region in Osoyoos B.C. Ilene is self taught and has painted most of her adult life.  Her preferred mediums are watercolors and acrylics. Her subjects include a variety of still life and florals from the Okanagan and California. In recent years she has developed a passion for painting vintage vehicles. Ilene’s paintings hang in homes in the United Kingdom, Japan, California, Oregon, Alberta and British Columbia.

Ilene enjoys sharing her knowledge with other emerging artists and is frequently found mentoring others.
